What Does “SEO Top 100” Mean?

The renowned list of Germany’s most important SEO service providers is published four times a year by iBusiness, an e-commerce trade publication issued by High Text Verlag.

The selection process is based on the industry visibility index and is conducted by iBusiness in cooperation with its partners BVDW, Sistrix, and Suchmaschinentricks.

Qualification for the Top 100 is primarily achieved by those SEO companies with the highest visibility index. This index is calculated by determining and comparing the companies’ rankings for industry-relevant SEO keywords using Sistrix data.

Public-facing activities of SEO service providers also influence the Top 100 list. These include, for example, presentations on SEO topics at relevant trade fairs and conferences, as well as certifications related to search engine optimization.
